President
Coulter Goodman
Hello, I am Coulter Goodman and there are three reasons why I believe you should consider me for NHS president: experience, dedication, and service. First, I have experience in handling challenging leadership positions. Over the past year, I started a tutoring program for inner-city elementary kids. Among my responsibilities as leader are organizing materials and people, securing transportation, and contacting volunteers, in addition to tutoring. Secondly, my high academic record shows that I have great dedication, which I will apply to leading the club. Lastly, I pledge to serve the club and its members to the best of my ability.
Andrew Okuyiga
In addition to possessing the organizational skills and dedication required to be NHS president, I believe I am a very accessible person who knows and cares about the concerns of my fellow NHS members. If elected president, I would encourage members to speak openly to me and the rest of the club if they had any concerns about or ideas to benefit NHS. I value the personal relationship I have with most of my fellow junior members, and my contact with them increases my ability to lead NHS in a direction that its members will benefit from and enjoy.
Khushbu Patel
Hi, my name is Khushbu Patel, and I?m running for NHS President. I know that this is a tremendous task and I know that I am fully prepared. I have excellent leadership skills and I know that I?m best qualified for this position. I?m currently Vice President of Student Council, I was senator of our sophomore class last year, I?ve been Secretary of your class of 2006 for the past two years, and I?m on Choir Council. I know that I have the leadership skills that will make this organization amazing next year. So vote Khushbu Patel for NHS President.
Tim Satterfield
The presidency of NHS requires responsibility, dedication, and ability to work with others. I believe I can provide these qualities. I have previous leadership experience, both inside and outside of school, including leading soccer teams and organizing my church youth group. I have participated in diversity forums and service organizations in high school. I enjoy working with different kinds of people. I am approachable and receptive to new ideas. Along with the other officers, I will try to make NHS a positive, rewarding experience for all. I give my word to do my best if elected as NHS president.
Vice President
Richard Chae
i don't think I'm THE best candidate, yet i think I'm am qualified and mature enough to the point where i should be vice president of NHS, cause when it comes to getting the job done, i will not only get the job done on time but it will be done to the point where it will amaze everyone it comes around to. though the other candidates may be more experienced then me in this position, i think that with the striving ego to get things done and loose personality, i think i should be the one for the job. thank you
Jessica Goertz
My name is Jessica Goertz, and I am running for Vice President of NHS. I know many of are not familiar with me past mere aquatiance, however, I am a hard-working and dedicated individual. As an officer in various other clubs, including Vice President of the Aquatic Science Club , I know and have what it takes to step up when a President is absent. Through my active membership of three years in Spanish National Honor Society, I am fully aware of the prestige and honor that an officer position in an honor society holds. I am completely prepared to accept the responsibility of this officer position and look forward to inheriting the infamous beeper (j/k). In all honesty, if elected, I promise to help maintain the credo the NHS of Langham Creek has maintained througout its legacy and make NHS fun and enjoyable for all its members.
Tommy Munn
My fellow students: you are about to elect candidates for several important positions within the National Honor Society. Many of you know me and my contributions to our school in the past. Running for the position of Vice-President, I now ask for your vote. As the Vice-President, I will work diligently to support the efforts of the president you choose. The National Honor Society calls upon those elected to perform community service and to assist others in achieving academic excellence. I am prepared for the challenge and will do my best to represent you and our school.
Addison Reed
As our school and our organization move forward, there will always be new and challenges and obstacles to overcome. We all must do our part to ensure the future success and prosperity of this organization. Some of us may lead, some may follow, and others may walk their own path, but we are all bound together in our desire to succeed and overcome these challenges. As for my own part, I can see no better way to serve than to help lead this organization into the future. As such, I am running for Vice-President of LCHS NHS for the 2005-2006 school year. I promise to bring unique and steadfast leadership to this office and to pursue all duties delegated to me with dedication and ardor. My previous experience as an officer in a multitude of other clubs and organizations will not only benefit my leadership here, but also my understanding of what is required to maintain a successful organization. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me.
Joseph Thompson
Leadership does not command excellence, it builds excellence. Over time, I have realized this form of servant leadership; I work not for myself but for the improvement and progression of others I care about. Courage, integrity and respect are the highest ideals I uphold. I follow through with my work, I am dedicated, my honor is Boy Scout true, my trust is assured, and my pride is omnipresent in all my actions. I do not ask for rewards, only the chance to serve. I am the competent, experienced, and intelligent candidate. Vote Joey Thompson for VP!
Secretary
Emily Barth
As a detail oriented and organized person, I think I would excel as NHS secretary because I feel like this organization requires a large amount of work to maintain as well as endless dedication. As an officer, I feel that I would gain influence that would allow me to make valuable contributions to the organization of the group and continue the upstanding reputation of NHS.
Caroline Goloby
Hi, I?m Caroline Goloby. This is very cliché, but, I would make a really good secretary for National Honor Society because I am responsible and organized. I have talked to Megan Ericson; current Secretary, and she has told me everything that the position entails. Much to my delight the Secretary of NHS has much of the same duties that I am already performing in SNHS, such as recording points for who attend the meetings and letting people know when and where the meetings are. SNHS members know those e-mails are mostly fun but, you get the information and some entertainment.
Shamekha Mannaf
Hi, I?m Shamekha Mannaf, and I?m running for NHS secretary. As secretary of Interact, I?ve experienced keeping track of documents, recording volunteer hours, and contacting individuals. My organizations skills include: heading Student Council?s Charity Committee, where I coordinate activities like drives, fundraisers, and donations, and Backstage Committee for Diversity Night, where I assign positions, maintain order, transfer performers smoothly, and address dressing rooms and props. Being on Orientation Committee at my hospital, I?m committed to directing our newcomers, teaching them the rules and regulations, and making them feel welcome. Thanks for reading and please vote Shamekha Mannaf for NHS secretary.
Treasurer
Dagny Anderson
I'm Dagny Anderson, and I am running for treasurer. I deserve your vote because I am honest, responsible, and very organized. If elected, I will dedicate a lot of time to NHS and will do everything that my job requires.

Sahar Sarfaraz
Hey, I?m Sahar Sarfaraz and I?m running for treasurer for NHS. I am enthusiastic about making a difference for the club and benefiting all members in the long run. Being the Treasurer for Interact this year has been a great asset to me, by teaching me many valuable techniques and ways of handling situations pertaining to financial matters. I love working with financial issues and assure you that if you vote for me, I promise that the "bLiNg bLiNg" will be in trusted hands. So, vote me, Sahar Sarfaraz, for your next NHS Treasurer! I would be an outstanding Public Relations Historian, because I am
able to stay focused and dedicated until any task is completed. I
would be able to devotedly take pictures of and document all
club-related activities. I would update the connections board and the
NHS web site frequently to keep members informed of upcoming events.
My skills and expertise deal with many years experience working with
Internet web site building and maintenance. I feel as if I would be a
great addition to next year's officers not only for my skill quality,
